It's hot summer days for me. Now only because of high temperatures in my southern home town of Sevastopol, but also because of many developer events coming to ukrainian south (because of warm sea and hot sun !)
I gave small presentation on Coldfusion on IT-Sea 2011 conference held in nearby city of Balaklava, Ukraine. The conference overall was packed with interesting presentations, I hope to attend it next year as well.
I was invited to make Coldfusion presentation to local .NET User Group meetup. This meeting was particularly interesting because of many developers with Coldfusion experience were attending, giving me shots of uneasy questions.
On August 20th there going to be IT-Jam conference in Odessa. It's expected that more than 1500 developers will attend 50 presentations on various from mobile and desktop development to project management and recruiting.
Later in August there's going to be first open Coldfusion User Group Ukraine meeting, and I as group manager organizing event together with nice guys from Flash Platform User Group. It going to be 30th meetup for FPUG and first CFUG meetup where we'll answer questions and bust myths on Coldfusion (which is still considered marginal and 'dead' language among local developers).
In September, there going to be next meeting of Flash Platform User Group in Yalta, another beautiful city on sea shore.
